The Buzz Is Brewing at Able Baker Bomb Shelter
What’s The Buzz at Able Baker Bomb Shelter
Able Baker Brewing has officially expanded beyond the Arts District, and their newest location is giving Northwest Las Vegas something to buzz about.
Meet Able Baker Bomb Shelter, the brewery’s new satellite restaurant and taproom located in Centennial Hills. If you already know and love Able Baker from Main Street, this new spot brings the same local personality, atomic-inspired branding, and craft beer energy, but with a fresh neighborhood feel.
We had the chance to stop by when they first opened, and the excitement was easy to capture. Our highlight reel took off online, which made it clear that Vegas locals were just as curious about this new location as we were.
The space has a lot going for it: 26 taps, a full restaurant, TVs throughout, two large patio areas, and a green space with ping pong, corn hole, and Connect 4. It is also family-friendly, with plenty of room to hang out, grab food, watch a game, or spend a casual afternoon getting social with friends. One of the coolest details is the artwork and artifacts displayed throughout the building, generously loaned from the Atomic Museum, giving the space a distinct Las Vegas identity.
While the beer is obviously a major draw, the food and cocktail menu deserve their own spotlight. There are no physical printed tap lists because the beer lineup is always changing, making each visit feel like a chance to discover something new. That same level of intention carries into the kitchen and bar, too. The team is using a sourdough starter that shows up in the sandwich buns, and pizza crusts, with doughs and recipes that take time to get just right.
The menu goes well beyond what you might expect from a brewery taproom. Think pizza, crispy chicken, street tacos, fresh salads, stacked sandwiches, house-made details like their ranch and sauces, plus a cocktail menu for anyone looking to switch things up beyond beer. It is clear the chef and team put real thought into making the food and drink experience feel just as memorable as the taps.
Able Baker Bomb Shelter isn’t just a second location, it’s a neighborhood gathering spot for Centennial Hills, bringing a little bit of the Arts District spirit to the Northwest side of town. Whether you are stopping in for a beer, dinner, patio time, or just want to see what all the buzz is about, this one is worth adding to your Vegas local list.
